Anyone else going to lincoln uni?

If so, what are the tutors like, what course are you doing and is it any good?

    i go there, i'm in my final year.

    as for the tutors, it depends what you study. i do criminology and social policy. any use?

    as for whether it's any good - yes, on the whole it's very good. though i would say they're not so good on the entertainments side. for example unis where other friends have gone have held various subject socials which lincoln don't seem to do. :grump:

    are you from near lincoln?

    I'm going to be doing Contemporary Lens Media...so, photography and film.

    Yeah I am near Lincoln, and I'm too fussed about entertainment side of it, I just wanted to go to a reasonably good place.

    are you going to be living in lincoln or travelling in?

    commuting comes from commute which is a journey.. so basically i was asking whether you'd be travelling in every day.

    you might struggle with parking - morrisons and b&q don't allow parking for over a certain number of hours anymore and st marks charges. i'm not sure where other people park - it might be more sensible to get the bus if possible. :)

    i'm in my second year of lincoln uni doing fine art. my housemate does fine art joint with contemporary lens media and i think he is pretty much left to his own devices. on fine art we have alot of tutorials and the tutors are always wandering somewhere if you need to talk to them. i'll ask him for you and get back to you :)

    Back to the original question, i went to lincoln uni and i thought it was great.

    I'm just a bit confused as to whether i have made the right choice of subject. But i have a place now... :confused:

    it maybe wasn't you then.

    the atrium is next to the media building/near the student union on the uni campus.

    oh rite, doubt it was me, i very rarely go down there, i'm situated at greestone so unless i'm going to the library or the uni doctors then i'm never down that end
