important news everyone. i just went on childline and they sent me an email saying that their discussion boards have temporarily closed down. i feel like this ties in with the changes with the mix as well so id like you all to know what you think about this.
Oh that’s weird. Childline finally realised I’m 20 and stopped me from posting a few weeks ago lol
interesting. it seems that theyve closed it down for everyone though, even for the under 19s who use childline. i guess i cant roleplay on there anymore 😔
stupid when it’s supposed to be for safety and now the kids will just go somewhere else less safe

Interesting, I aged out of Childline back in 2024. In the few years I used it, I don't remember the discussion boards ever closing down temporarily.

Out of curiosity, if only one staff member is working and theres a general chat for example that they are leading doesn't this mean premoderation will take longer in those periods so that staff members attention is fully on chat?
I think that they might have to stop doing those chats. Unless you mean on Chatwee.

Oh well I don`t know then. But because it`s general chat rather than support chat, they might be able to take a few minutes to sort out the boards sometimes.

@Dancer it depends as sometimes the staff run support too. I guess we can see what the staff say when they reply

The whole general chat section is gone
This is ridiculous. I get that the support chat and general chat threads can`t really be done anymore but don`t get rid of the entire general chat section. @TheMix
