The age verification thing says that I look 16. At least it didn`t say 12 or 13 unlike what people at school used to think. Now I see why I still get asked for ID although I`m 20.

I can't as the app isnt letting me do the face scan with my screen reader. 10 years here and it comes down to accessibility whether i'll be sticking around or not?

yeah if you cant complete the steps then how are you supposed to access this platform? i dont think the mix really thought through with the yoti age verification system. im not blaming the staff on here but their higher-ups.
it’s also wildly inaccurate, I’m 23 yet it thinks I’m 28. So much for it being very accurate lol. I’m not being funny but if it’s that inaccurate you might aswell just ask people for an ID straight off because whats the point if it mistakes a 12 year old for a 17 year old, a 17 year old for a 12 year old and a 23 year old for a 28 year old?
i also cant see community connectors anymore and my badge has gone. If this has been automatically removed because it thinks I’m 28 that’s ridiculous. 10 years guys. Remember that.
Thing is i dont understand this age verification stuff because if someone was that desperate to get on the boards then theyd just verify using someone they know who are in the age remit. Its not rocket science.

Im just highly frustrated at the mixed messages and lack of communication as yesterday I asked if this was all coming into place today and I had the response of "The latest on that front is that the tech team are trying to resolve the issues whilst keeping the boards open. For that reason, we are struggling to give you a clear date and time of when it comes into effect but we do hope to have some answers to share Monday 13th. That is as much as I know - we are trying to be completely transparent. I hope this helps!"
Yet we werent given any answers parts have just happened here there and everywhere with minimal if any communication

I tried to do the age verification, and it took me scanning my face multiple times for it to work. I planned to leave before it became mandatory and should have made a goodbye post over the weekend.
