I started sketching!

NemuritaiNemuritai Posts: 611 Incredible Poster

Hey there - I gave sketching/drawing a try for the first time yesterday (using a reference for guidance) and thought it would be fun to share my results here. It turned out to be really therapeutic and I definitely want to draw more in the future. I'm still a beginner so there's plenty of room for improvement but I'm looking forward to learning and improving!

ppl dont always need advice. sometimes all they rly need is a hand to hold. an ear to listen. and a heart to understand them. 🧸

@Nemuritai That’s really cool and it looks great.

I’m glad you gave drawing a try and found it therapeutic. I draw sometimes too ,so it’s nice to hear you’re enjoying it. Every drawing is a step forward and it sounds like you’re already having fun with the process, which is the best part.

Wow that is amazing especially for a first go at drawing too as well!. I miss drawing and sketching to be fair, as I used to do it a lot and I even went to art college as well lol. I mainly love anatomy and scientific drawing so medical illustration. But definitely keep up drawing because it can be a super therapeutic thing to do.

Thank you @Amy22, that's very kind. That sounds really cool, I find anatomy interesting as well though it sounds like your knowledge is way more in-depth which is very impressive. I definitely agree on drawing being therapeutic - I find when I get into doing something like drawing I kind of get tunnel vision and forget about everything else lol, although I'm autistic so maybe that's why hehe. If you ever draw or sketch again in the future I'd be super interested to see
