Mum
My parents won’t let me live with them unless I tell them all the dates of all my mental health appointments

that really unfair, and i’m sorry they’re putting you in that position. you deserve support and a safe place to live without having to give up your privacy and share things like dates of mental health appointments, unless that is what YOU want, not your family, but YOU. your mental health is your business, and it’s not right for them to make that a condition for having a home.
do you think there’s any way to set a boundary with them, or would that just make things worse? if you don’t feel comfortable sharing everything, maybe there’s a way to give them just enough information to ease the situation without sacrificing your privacy completely?
whatever happens, you’re not alone in this - we’re all here for you
I mean I’m planning on cancelling my next one, I’m not lying if it’s not happening
Idk
They didn’t say I’m not allowed to cancel an appointment
They did say I have to attend all appointment
It lasted for 1 hr
I never wanted to go to it in the first place
I want to cancel it
always here for you
Having to tell them when all your appointments are is potentially a sense of additional pressure. Am I hearing this right - is there anything which might help the mental health appointments to feel more accessible and comfortable at the moment? We care about you and are here to support you
