    oh ok was it with paramedics? did you have anyone with you? staff from hospital? just wondering bc not been told anything.

    i wasnt with paramedics. basically what happened was that a staff member from the hospital i was at before i got into the psychiatric hospital sat with me in the ambulance whilst there were two people at the front and one of them was driving.

    for me i got my own room and an ensuite bathroom but it depends on the psychiatric hospital. it wasnt really that scary to be honest to be around those people but it was definitely nerve-racking to say the least.

    no problem. i hope youll be able to get your own bed since its better to be on your own. since youre 18 youll be in an adult ward so be prepared to be with older people. i personally was only in an adolescent ward so i dont know what happens in an adult ward. although, id imagine theyd be pretty similar.

    youll be questioned by mental health professionals and then youll be guided to your room. at least thats what happened to me.

    the dr said they wouldnt find a bed on hospital bc its weekend but idk how long im gonna stay here in a&e for. :/

    i agree the nurse and drs are lovely here i am safe from dad but safe from myself to bc i was unsafe. :) im finally getting help but not way i want to get help bc I am scared of hospitals but yeah.

    It sounds really difficult for you at the moment @eylah. Part of you recognises you are safer with the nurse and doctors but the other part of you being scared of hospitals. In an ideal world, what way do you want to get help right now?

    i agree bc i dont think hospital is where i need to be but the drs and amhp said i do last night.

    it depends what you did you get sectioned. if you were feeling unsafe it was probably the right call of action but then again i dont know the full extent of your situation.

    @eylah I can imagine how anxiety-provoking this is for you at the moment. You are being so brave. I am glad to hear that the nurses and doctors are being nice to you and I am sure this environment is the best place to help you recover.

    i did something serious and police brought me in. and bc of stuff happening in last month im here.

    i wont be here in general hospital i thought i would be bc wasny said anything else but im being taken to psych ward now instead of here. :/ i want these nurses and drs but they go of shift in hour. :/

    will the night nurses and doctors come on then? i hope the staff will be nice at the psychiatric hospital as well.

    yeah night staff come on at 8 so will be new staff. i hope so bc im anxiously waiting to hear what happening.
