ok so im currently contacting shout for the second time for psychosis and the first time theyve been really helpful and didnt have to break confidentiality. lets hope the second time goes well. ill update you as i go along the conversation.

    Wait times are extremely long, I’ve seen people waiting 6 hours. There’s just not enough people on the other end of the line. Best time to text is daytime if you can.

    ill try and text them after school ends. i finish at 12:20 so thats when people are still in school.

    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    alright i had the chat with the volunteer and it was great. we talked about the symptoms of psychosis and distraction techniques.

    I'm really glad to hear you were able to get through to someone and had a helpful conversation. Really well done for reaching out to Shout, it's not easy making that step especially after not being able to get through before on a busy evening. Remember they are always a text away anytime you'd like to reach out to them again <3
