    Is there a specific situation you have in mind @ellie2000? I get the sense that if people overreact to something small, it's usually because something else is bothering them.

    As @Mike said, when some people react negatively, it can also mean there are other things going on for the other person and not necessarily something that you have said or done.

    That said, excluding you from a group can be a form of bullying behaviour. Is it possible to talk to the group and let them know that you feel excluded and would like to be included more? As @Terry8936 said you can also consider finding a group where you feel you belong and are valued for being yourself <3
