I'm hearing that you feel happy on holiday, but back at home you feel like everything's on top of you. That sounds difficult. What did you do on holiday, is there anything you can do at home that would make you feel happy like that?
I know this is a pretty big question, but do you think you'd ever like to move to a completely different town in the future? x
I think holidays and time away are so healing because you are stepping away from something, mentally and physically taking a break from normal life. You say your hometown is triggering, are there certain places that are more triggering than others and if so, do you know why?
I'd say, getting out in nature could really help. If there is a park, or woods, anywhere with tall trees or a body of water, take a time out once in a while to go to this place. It can lend you a fresh perspective and help to clear your mind, and make you feel happiness, just like how you feel a holiday does.
Take care
