    I understand the unknown can be scary as we do not know what is going to happen. One thing to remember about the unknown is to try to embrace it and think of the positive outcomes that are possible instead of focusing on the potential negatives.

    It doesn't sound silly at all! The way you are feeling is perfectly valid and normal. You've done really well today contacting the police and making them aware of the situation and it sounds like they have been willing to help. This is a real positive achievement and something you should try to focus on. I know it can still feel difficult but there are lots of people around you who are willing to support you and protect you from him. If you need further support there are also lots of great organizations like the Refuge National Domestic Abuse Helpline (08082000247) who you can always talk to if you need further reassurance or help. Remember we are all here for you!

    Hey @Lelia if you're comfortable sharing, what exactly about the bath is daunting you? If you're struggling to distract yourself I find that listening to music or a funny podcast sometimes helps me and I find that I can't focus on the words and the unwanted thoughts in my head at the same time.

    Just, bad memories is that what you call it? When something bad has happened, qnd you get flashbacks and it just Daunts until you end up just getting it over and done with, but even a shower also makes me panic.

    Your ex doesn't matter in the you are more important , and as I said it's his loss, if he wants to act like a complete dick, he never deserved you in the first place, especially if he's done what he's done to you, he doesn't belong in your life trust me if people do that they don't deserve you as a friend
