I know it can feel awkward talking to staff members about these kinds of things but if someone at your univeristy said something that upsets you then you're never in the wrong for sharing your feelings, if that's what you choose to do. Hopefully talking about it here on the boards is a good first step so please always feel free to talk about what you're going through.
Thanks for reaching out to us. I think it is really brave of you that you have been able to talk to us about how you are feeling. I also have autism so I may be able to understand some of your situation, though I appreciate it affects us all differently.
Would you like to talk more about how you feel your autism has affected university education for you? or how you felt about being told you need to go through your strengths? We are listening if you do!
Thanks for your response. No worries at all. I am really glad to hear you feel much better at the moment and felt able to speak to her about how she made you feel. Please remember we are always here for you and listening to you
