    You might want to delay the plan of the hair dye until after swimming but it is up to you as to what you decide to do in the end.

    Shouldn't swim for a week after hair dye as it can create a chemical reaction and change the colour etc

    It does react. Changes the colour and causes skin irritation. If you go to a salon for hair dye, they tell you that :)
