It is where you hear or see things that are not there and believe things that are not real. It is mostly caused by drugs and sereve mental health problems

Hey @ellie2000 The Mix has a really easy-to-read article all about psychosis and some helpful videos as well - https://www.themix.org.uk/mental-health/psychosis/psychosis-6636.html

Are you concerned about you or someone you know experiencing/believing things that other people don’t?

Echoing @Shaunie here, but it's officially listed as when you 'lose touch with reality'. It usually involves hallucinations (seeing/hearing things that aren't there) and delusions (firmly believing things that have no truth), although other symptoms can be involved. NHS website explains it in more detail well x
