but would you, if you had any confidence issues - be it emotionally, physically or the ability to perform. Feel upset if you knew about it?
Ive had a relationship before where i felt VERY threatened by his use of porn because it was always in preference to sex with me, and i wasnt being made to feel desired or wanted in anyway, so i blamed the porn rather than the guy.
Im in a relationship now, where he sometimes uses porn and it doesnt bother me in the slightest because i feel wanted, so it doesnt threaten me
Im the same as suzy, as long as it wasnt all the time and didnt affect our relationship and i was still made to feel attractive and wanted then it wouldnt matter. Ive watched porn whilst i was in a relationship before, but it didnt mean i was using it as a replacement for him
for example guys normally still wank even in a long term relatinship (not saying all do) but they must be imaging something to wank over if you know what i mean? & watching porn is better than your bf/gf going and cheating on you lol
I think it comes down to how porn is being used.
If your partner's using porn instead of wanting to have sex with you then there's something wrong. But that's nothing to do with the porn and everything to do with your partner. It's the same problem if they're not using porn but using vibrators or whatever instead of having sex with you.
If they're using porn when you don't want sex, or when it isn't possible for you to have sex, then there isn't a problem IMHO. Yes, men will generally only look at porn with people in it that they find attractive, but it's honestly no different to seeing a pretty celebrity or a cute girl in the street. No man's going to watch ugly people have sex (and everyone's idea of ugly is different) but that doesn't mean they think the porn models are better than you. The porn models are 2D, they're with you and jumping your bones because they want you.
Considering how degrading it is to the people involved in its production. It is also enormously addictive / life-destroying to the viewer.
 really?
LOL
As for degrading the people involved in its production - I agree this is true of the porn industry - but does this apply to amateur porn too?
Porn is not addictive, sexual urges are natural and require satisfaction - the problem arises when that satisfaction can only, or predominantly, be achieved by watching porn. Big difference.
