    Don't we all think about leaving at some point? I know I go through times when I almost never come here. If he has left at least he didn't do a full blown flounce. :D

    Sometimes things just no longer serve any useful purpose in peoples' lives.

    Was wondering this the other day; there's definately a vacuum in his absence - I was hoping he'd just gone on holiday. But whatever's best for him really, he'd given a lot of time to the boards, I hope the boards gave him something back.

    Really? Aw that's a real shame. Although we rarely spoke, and if we did it was to disagree, I will miss his posts on here.

    He probably felt unappreciated. Personally I miss his advice in the home, law and money forum more than anything. I always knew that if nobody else could help, he sure as hell could. Luckily I've got a link to him away from TheSite so if I needed some straight talking advice I could still get it, but sadly for many others his advice and expertise is lost forever...

    Yeah the whole "I'm leaving the site" threads have been done so many times and they always come back! Whats worse is when someone does a "I'm leaving the site whilst I go on holiday for 1 week" thread. :razz:

    Unappreciated? He had no reason to. I always thought he was brilliant at giving at advice on quite a lot of things and always noticed he got praised. But let's be honest he wasn't nice to everyone and sometimes got as good as he gave. If you have a sharp tongue then expect a lashing back!
    He will be missed.

    I don't get the whole "announcing your leaving" type thing anyway, if you don't wanna post any more then don't post any more. I remember threads from years ago when loads of people announced they were leaving en masse, but were back posting by the weekend.

    Shame though, he was a good lad. A lot of people I liked have left over the years :crying:

    To be honest i didn't even notice. I'm sure hes a nice bloke but i couldn't really care less who leaves and who goes. Ain't like hes gone an died on us or anything.
