Maybe when you discover electricity up north you will realise the chaos this kind of weather can bring!
Yeah, whatever mate. You can rob all our tax money to build your pointless projects (Millenium dome) but you can't drive a car properly in the snow or stop train tracks from freezing. Useless
well its not exactly hard for the horse and cart to take you to work in the coal mines is it!
... too far?
Actually saying all this I'm going to be in Durham this weekend!
Northerns all the fucking way!
I don't know a northerner who's ever paid tax...
We don't work down coal holes anymore. If you had a decent news report you'd know that
Shame you can't handle a bit of snow down there.
So says the brummy. Did you know that the midlands has the highest outstanding tax bill in the country?
Brummies are from Birmingham. Did you get that fact from your primative Northern literature?!
But if you check very carefully, It is also used to wind up anyone from the Midlands. And guess what, I got the desired effect, didn't I?
Brummies are northerners, anything much above the M25 is 'the north'.
Dude, your JSA is paid for from our taxes. Anything you spend it on is our taxes paying more taxes...
BTW Kermit, no snow here.
Been to collect yours yet geeza? Heard that more are on benefits in the south than in the north?
Shame too. So that's another thing you southerners are falsely whinging about. Anything Else??
I wonder if louise is having her usual bacardi and coke, or corona?
Tis rather a shame I got transferred to chester le street, pity I won't be around durham this weekend.
Yup. Personally I think Cambridge is where the south stops and the north begins. People from the Midlands are just in denial about being crap northerners.
I'm southern born and bred and very southern at that. And that's the way uh-huh uh-huh I like it.
However my dad's side of the family are from London and I was born and brought up in the South so I can still say that we're better than you!
You even have electricity up there??! I thought you all still lived in caves :P
Mneh.. snow hasnt caused too much hassle here. it wasn't even a centimetre, and had gone by lunch...
Of course London and the surrounding transport systems are going to suffer, there the busiest systems in the country and don't exactly run smoothly in the dry.
I think this diagram represents the north south divide perfectly.
Travelling from North to South....
And then the south where you think you're top of the food chain and then fuck everything up and blame everyone else for it.
Sounds about right.
Haha, yea I've got a better debate: what's better - AIDS or cancer?
Woudl that be Bad Aids or Good Aids?

Anything above the downs is 'north' for me
And I'm a very proud southerner, born and breed.
Are you trying to say I'm predictable? :grump:
I'll have you know I drank two apple VKs last week, I find them really sickly now though :sour:
I still haven't been to the bar in Chester-le-Street.
Leeds could do with a few less Londoners.
Agreed :thumb:
