First of all. An attempt to rid this scum of the earth is a good thing.

Israel has been bombings Lebanon infrastructure etc as this is where the terrorists plotys are. I mean, Hezbollah operates in southern Lebanon yeah? They know that if Israel retaliate the first port of call will be their base which is in the south. however, terrorists think they're clever so they hide their bombs, their bases in other parts of the country. Therefore Israel is attempting to destroy this onetwork by estimating their bases.

It's about time the lebanon eese government did or at least said something which is powerful. They need to attack hezbollah with Israel or else the terrorists will carry on using their country to wage their war against Israel.

So the terrorists hide their bombs in the international airport, or road bridges?

In war you destroy your enemies infrastructure and cut off his mobility. Yes, civilian casualties are to be mourned over, but this is a war against a large and well armed state-within-a-state and Israel has every right to prosecute the conflict to the extent which it sees fit.

So the terrorists, who bomb from the south of the country hide their bombs in the international airport and in road bridges around the capital, what do they do, run back and forth each time they want a rocket?

They've got plenty in the south for a while. But yes they do store their equipment in the most unusual places.

Sadly misinformed and spiteful, inhumane little tv-fed mouthpieces we have in our midst here.

Nothing about this latest expansion of Israel's generation's long roster of crimes against humanity is justified. You might as well justify the atrocities of the Nazis quite frankly, since they eminate from the same ideological mindset that has underpinned Zionism and the Israeli neocolonialist apartheid state since its founding.

And luke, you haven;t a clue of what you are claiming. You make statements of assumed fact for which you have neither the length of political awareness nor the concrete facts to back up. Just more demonstration of your presumptuous and imaginary extrapolations to shield yourself from recognising who the true monsters are in the region.

How are you privy to this information if you dont mind me asking. I'd assume that Hezbolla would keep this sort of thing a secret.

I guess that convoy of medical goods was a place to hide equipment too then...

No I don't have any facts. It is an assumption and I do not have any proof.

The fact that why would terroists leave all their equipment in one place? They're bound to hide it.

Bound to hide it in a road bridge, in a road bridge? Or as other bombings suggests under the main road?

Bullshit. Israel hasn't got a right to the deliberate murder of civilians or to war crimes.

Are you going to comment on Israel destroying entire neighbourhoods in Beirut? Or do you have nothing to say about that?

May you never be forced to live in misery, destruction and perpetual oppression as the Palestinians have been forced to live under racist Israeli brutality and indiscriminate daily attack, luke. You have no clue whatsoever how off base all your spiteful and childish assumptions truly are of the situation.

Do you actually watch any news?

This is intractable stupidity at its most glaring, Al.

Luke is locked in a world of double standards and lame excuses for political and military issues he has no intellectual capacity to grasp in the slightest. Must be a friend of Mat's actually.

    indiscriminate daily attack.

I'd say the Israeli's feel like they are under this too, its not like Hezbollah aim their rockets.

Israels response (as always it seems) is over the top, but both sides are guilty of pushing it forward.

but both sides are guilty of pushing it forward

I reiterate the difference being that the Zionists began this conflict with the ethnocidal invasion and purges (ethnic cleansing, you know that nasty item for which Milosevic was decried as a monter worthy of international criminal proceedings?) of over 700,000 rightful inhabitants of the land and the total decimation of their homes, villages and towns to establish the longrunning myth of "a land without a people".

Throughout, the rightful inhabitants have been ignored by the Western powers in preference for their conniving Zionist neo-colonialist partners so as to have a stepping stone for foreign strategic and economic domination over the ME and its "less than human" peoples.

The only self defence in this scenario from the start therefore is that of the Palestinians who have been the generations-long consistent victims of a murderous and racist ideological cabal and its assymetrically superior, and obscenely well (US) financed insitutional aparatus of oppression.

Until people put away the mainstream whitewashed, "both sides are equally guilty" rubbish and recognise the simple and clear principle that a foreign invader who arrives with a known intent and drives you from you home; slaughters, kidnaps and imprisons without charge your brothers/sisters/parents/relatives in your own land is the sole guilty party and rightfully attacked in self defence.

Otherwise, let us cease from any notion of defence of our homes, families, or even nations since to attack those who come at us with malicious intent to take what is not there's in the first place would be "just as bad" according to this duplicitous illogic.

Have a look at this excellent article from one well placed in the midst of the conflict zone itself and then you decide for yourself, bb.

Hezbollah didnt author the script according to which this entire conlict has progressed for more than 80 years, I'm afraid. Time to recognise the true Naziistic war criminals in this equation, namely the ones with the blue and white flag.

The invasion of Lebonnon and Palestinian territories is one thing, but th Israelite people are the rightful inhabitants of Israel now. They have been their long enough to claim a right to live there as their own land. Just as in a case of if they were driven out and th eland was taken for over 50 years by some other people, they would have the claim the land. Who owns land and who has claim on it changes.

Now, Hezbollah will be crushed but not destroyed and the result will be an even more radical and extreme group replacing them as dominant. At which point they will only bring about hatred against themselves worse then their predecessors due to their increased brutal activities. Same goes for Hamas really who were themselves replacing the PLO.

The Israelis remain a consistent never changing force in the region however and are there fore predictable. The situation may be brought down notch in time, but in a few years, maybe a decade we will be back to this again.
