    I'm an English Language student and was just wondering the views off people for a piece of exam work.

    I have been on other message board sites and have recieved betta replies than sum of the imature 1z on this website so i have come 2 the conclusion that this site is most obviously full of idiots. Sorry i wont bother u agen because i obviously dnt belong with these types of people.

    3 - you say your a language student, im guessing what, primary school? I've seen better spelling from a 5year old, BETTER, not BETTA and YOU not U and AGAIN not AGEN, it's not like one letter takes a whole decade longer to write

    Ahem. You really should have read the forum rules first.. but..

    Being an 'essex girl' myself, i would say that most 'essex girls' don't conform to the typical essex girl bimbo sterotype, there are certainly groups of typical 'essex girls' but i think you'll find those types of people anywhere.. whether in essex or the rest of the Uk.

    Hmm I dunno, I've been to quite a few places around the country and essex does have more of them, or maybe I just notice it more in essex

    Well she seems one of those "typical Essex girls" and if shes a English student she will deffo not be at uni, probably GCSE maybe an AS course, no uni student would do an essay on Essex girls if they had any respect for there course.

    I don't think people "around the globe" know - much less care - about Essex girls in all honesty.

    Text talk

    There are reasons why text talk isn't the greatest way to communicate on these boards:

    1. There is no word limit, so you don't need to shorten words, although the odd u and 2 are allowed
    2. It may be faster for you to type, but it takes much longer to read, and the lack of punctuation also makes your posts hard to decipher. It puts people off responding.
    3. Text talk makes you look stupid and illiterate, sad but true. Board users will also assume that if you can't be bothered to write properly, why should they bother to try and help you.
    4. The search - if you write normally, the key words will be picked up when doing a search, helping you and others. One of the main reasons for our search not being as good as it could be is the use of text talk.

    OK lecture over...enjoy your time at The Site, and if in doubt about anything, ask.

    Yeah ok the post was a bit difficult to read, but I think she was jumped on a bit too harshly.

    In answer to your question... I havent been to essex or met many essex girls, so not much help...
    I would say the chances are that the steriotype is well over exagirated though...

    All I think is that essex girls/lads think they are more famous than they really are. I dont see them any differently as anyone else really.
