Why do the words "piss-up" and "brewery" spring to mind?
Demand all you like. <IMG SRC="tongue.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
I don't have a problem with immigrants that enter the country through the proper channels, as you say they are a necessity to our country.
It's the immigrants that enter the country illegally that I have a problem with.
P.S take a chill pill, far too many <IMG SRC="mad.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">'s at the end of your posts. <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
do you not SEE the hypocrasy with your stance on drugs? It is like saying that "it's OK for people to use alcohol and fags but not dope because it is Illegal. Just because it is illegal it does not mean it is wrong! <IMG SRC="mad.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
Agreed! <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
However these are two seperate issues, for which I have two seperate opinions. I must be stupid or slow because I fail to see this hypocrasy you keep acusing me of.

Taking a few pills is a victimless crime.
Who's the victim in illegal immigration?
If you're going to say the taxpayer is the victim as we end up paying their benefits...
...you could also apply that to drugs. We pay for the rehab centres to help the addicts.
It's lunatics like you who give real socialists, who have a genuine will and opportunity to improve the world, a bad name.
I speak for myself here, but assume Skives opinion isn't far off...
I think there is nothing wrong with drug use, and drug use is a victimless crime. Drug abuse, on the other hand, I DO think there is something wrong with, and something should be done about it.
And I would also guess (its only a guess) that a lt more money is lost to illegal immigrants than it is to drug rehab centres.
How many reasons do you want?
Let's see.
Poor standards of education
Inability to communicate, thus an inability to get employment once their waiting period is up.
Unemployment leads to crime, crime leads to resentment.
Plus, maybe this isn't a factual argument, but i'll say what the others are thinking, if they want to come here, then they must do so through the proper channels.
It should be for US to decide if they stay, not them.
If they want to stay, then they must integrate. No more hanging round in gangs, no more resusals to speak English and fit in.
"But British people hang around in gangs" i here you whine, THEY ARE BRITISH CITIZENS. I know it might not be PC at the moment, but we should have more rights in our own country than people who don't have citizenship.
I personally don't see a problem with denying entry to people who should have moved to the country NEXT to theirs instead of travelling 2000 miles to get here.
No
then teach them as has been suggested....
if so (wheres your proof?) then educate them.....
You lot aren't giving up this point are you? We are debating what should be not what is, else there is no point......
aaaahhhhhhh. the US and THEM attitude, very helpful
Refusal? I bet theres loads of people that come to Britain and REFUSE to speak English <IMG SRC="rolleyes.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
What do you mean by "Fit in" do you think the average immigrant makes a conscious decision not to?
What is this elusive citizenship of which you speak?
Its about economics mate and I think you will find that the countries adjacent to a warzone DO recieve the majority of asylum seekers/refugees i.e. Pakistan and Macedonia, they are moved around the world LATER because of our superior ability to support them.....
He was offered a place at Princeton and moved to the USA before the nazis came to power in Germany('32). He was granted citizenship in '35
