Guess what, we are gonna get shouted at shortly :nervous:
good morning becky ...
I'd love it if somebody like him/her said that aloud in Brixton.
The person said the comment, was banned there was a debate about it, then we tried to get on topic, not having a go but I don't see the point of bringing up a post from the first page that wasn't even relevent. Not that this thread is actually going anywhere.
So in Kingston I've noticed that a lot of people seem to be in mixed race relationships, which is something I've never seen in my own town before. But then people probably grw up with different races in a diverse community. I don't see how skin colour can affect a relationship really because a human being is a human being. However with religion perhaps there would be tension, especially if the person was quite strictly religious.
But personally, from this generation onwards I think society in the UK will become much more accepting of inter-racial relationships.
Today's report / talk given by the guy who does the inter-relations thing in the UK - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/4270010.stm - says that segregation and 'ghettos' are increasing in the UK (thus the obvious conclusion is that inter-racial relationships must be becoming rarer, at least to me).
i think your totaly wrong moon.
in rural north wales there are growing numbers of filappenos and indians ...in the heart of the countryside.
these people are highly skilled highly paid proffesionals mostly employed in the health biz.
there is no tension whatsoever through religous differences but ...the typical anti english welsh nationalist minds are now going on about the welsh countryside being taken over by brown children.
this generation onwards seems to me to be getting worse than the old brigade ...fed by the media and the bullshit war on terror.
no religion involved at all seeing as god moved out of most of the welsh chapels some time ago.
Why? It's right to assault people?!
