    i dunno, im not such a rock fan.. and i dont know most of the rock bands, but i'd say Iron Maiden.. just took one i knew :)

    *sharp intake of breath* I don't know about that. Queen changed styles an awful lot and they produced a fair amount of rock. If Queen aren't a rock band then you could argue that most of the bands on that list aren't either. But it would be splitting hairs on a grand scale. Arguing over labelling bands is as daft.

    It's impossible to choose from the best. There's too many options that run your choice, i.e. what makes that band the best? Best one hit wonder? Best ballad? Best solo? Most records sold? Best guitarist? Best vocalist? Best drummer?

    The list can go on.

    I'm not a big fan of the rock scene, especially the heavier stuff but Incubus get my vote - near enough the only rock band I don't get bored of listening to. :yes:

    I said the Who, but it's very hard to choose just one. Other possible contenders from that list are the Stones and Led Zep. Missing from that list, I'd also have to say the Band.
