if we just carry on shopping when something of biblical proportions happens ...what are we ...who are we?
it realy is a time to put our materialistic lifestyles on hold for a short while.
if we can't do that now ...how big a disaster has to happen?
Fornarina shoes = <3333
MR, I sincerely apperiacte your message here. And I really do think you're right.
Unfortunately the disaster struck at a rather inconvinient time, it being christmas and all. People feel that all the charities they gave to at the begining of december make up for the whole year.
So basically as people have given a few pounds at the beggining of December for an animals shelter or something else in the spirit of christmas then it's okay not to do anything now as they have cleaned their consciousness 3 weeks ago.
I am really sad to say it, but that's the state of matters.
and jeans to me are for getting rough in ...like digging chicken shit and crawling beneath my motor.
going out ...i just wear clean ones.
thats whats so sad and even scary.
People talk about holiday spirit, and it's so false. Why only in the holidays?
As soon as the 24th is over people sit back, and as they have been so generous with their presents they need time for themselves, up until they reach next december where they will stress around, stress about money, only for the sake feeling that they did a good deed by buying their close ones a present.
i'll do my bit for charity, and i'll give money to help the tsumami victims, but i'll treat myself in the sales too.
it's unfair to make people feel guilty for spending their hard-earned cash.
i want to try and focus as much attention as possible on the plight of these people.
the sales seem a good place to nag people with so much cash floating about.
wallmart....they bought asda and theyn just loooooove bush.
so now it's bush price....
Its clothes for gods sake, who cares if they Love bush
Agreed. I'm often glued to CNN (however much I hate it), getting the latest. When the oppurtunity to give money arises, I will do, and I'll give as much as I can, but I'm not going to stop living my life because people are dying, otherwise, no one anywhere would do anything.
Anyway, I need some new shoes.
