personally I think Goths are Nasty! That is really gross in my opinion. However Punker girls are pretty hot, not hardcore ones with mohawks and shit, but like the semi-punk girls are pretty hot.

Byny - Stop using this thread as an excuse to be a camera whore :p

and on topic: some people can carry off the whole 'gothic' look very well and look incredibly sexeh (notice - not sexy, sexeh!)

i have been very lucky to find a few of these sexy 'goths'

and i also agree that some people go over the top with the whole make up/depression thing

and i refuse to get into the whole sheep/label/goth + trendie bashing argument again!!! i'm way too mature for that now......

BTW so, mini-moshers are sheep for copying each others clothing? what about the trendies in their matching tracksuits and baseball caps???

That is all. You may proceed to another thread now. :p

Depends on the type of 'goth' in question... The mingy ones with greasy hair and hoodies do nothing for me... Industrial types, or classical velvet type goths can be attractive...

For me it's the whole vampire look as well.

ok.......well....i like eyeliner wearing guys, and i love black hair, i love the painted nails, and well dressed guys.

i would have to say that i do like guys who do dress gothicly, but i do not like people who do all that and go on and on about how much they just LOVE AFI!! and don't have a clue who joy division and the cure and bauhaus are.

i don't tend to go for gothicly dressed guys, though if a guy looks good and has a nice personality then thats what matters.

but yes fellow industrialists and "aristocrats" as they like to call themselves are often v. nice......

Gothic basically refers to the Middle Ages or Dark Ages in Europe from around the 1100's to the 1400's. A "true" gothic then must mean that they see reality as if we're in the Dark Ages of our time. Back then everything was chaotic, mysterious, and barren. If a goth precieves that reality in today's life then they truly believe that the world is a dark, desolate place.

Anyway back to the question at hand: Turn on

Yeh, I'm gonna add to this too.. don't care how old it is...

If you take a look at Vampire Freaks you can definitely see a difference between the 'mini mosher' and the 'goth'.

Personally, most of the guys on VF seem to be the stereotypical Manson hoody, baggy jean clad black eyeliner all over the face types. You get the odd few that are what I call 'natural' goths.. they add a hint of goth and it looks natural - like the older more sophisticated guys over the age of 25. Phwoar.

And as for the women/girls... there's a difference between This and This I would most definitely not say no to the latter!!
