any name spelled wrong - jaymz, karlee...
any hyphenated boys name with the exception of john-paul.
Changing the spelling of a name to "make it Welsh" sucks too.
e.g. Howell changed to Hywel.
Honestly, what's the fucking point if it sounds the same?
No. It makes them sound stupid.
Elinor is just as valid a spelling as Eleanor, for instance. Different languages.
Yeah but Welsh just totally sucks. The language is horribly unattractive.
Atmas mebbe. The spellings are sometimes nice, although as a general rule Gaelic spellings are nicer.
Oh, and like i said in the other thread, any name with a - in is horrific.
Yes, in my opinion. I don't see how anyone can find the South Wales accent or the Welsh language attractive.
What do you mean? Words with an "a" in? Like Damon or James?
Names with a hyphen in. Hence the -:p
i think he meant a hyphen
bad names ... people who call there child something similar to their surname suck. in one class i had a robbie robertson  and im sure there are other examples too.
one girl in a class was called casey-marie and i didnt like that name either.
Luckily I live near England so I don't sound Welsh, though occasionally the accent seeps through. God damn it.
there go all my name ideas
I see. Like Anne-Marie and Mary-Jane. Yeah they suck and sound inbred.
i agree. i think alot of girls names can sound ok, like emma-jane or lisa-marie (as well as the above). but casey-marie just sounds tacky.
Then the really baby names, that aren't soo cute when they are older; like, Abigail, Melissa.
Don't know about the lads names *shrugs*
Its so not! Some welsh name are horrible though, but you do find some really nice ones.....just like with any names i suppose.
the list is endless
i had a william williamson in my school
i personally dislike it when people call me charlie, they do it without my consent
that would be me. i like arwen. it's a nice name. whats wrong with it?
I agree. Same goes for Wayne, but not quite to the same extent as Dwayne/Duane/etc.
I just fail to see why you'd give your child a name like that. With most names, however horrible, you can see why. Even Kylie-Beyonce, or something equally horrific, you can see the motivation behind it.
But Duane? It's just beyond comprehension for me.
