All those Jerry Springer names like Shaneqwa and Shaneetra and what-have-ya.

And anything spoken in a thick Dublin accent just loses any positive points it might have had....Ie, Jacinta, Sharon, and others that aren't coming to mind at 1.45 am. ...

    So you're not a good Catholic? :o

It is. I still don't like hyphenated names, but at least John Paul doesn't sound like something I'd call my kid if my daughter was the mother...

I'm sure Mr Miffy is very happy to hear that. ;)

Although when I was in hospital having my youngest there was an Irish midwife who assumed we were catholic cause I have 5 children and he appears to be named after the Pope.......

I dont like names like Milly, Miffy, Gloria, Gertrude, Gwyneth, Lily, etc.

The names like Shaniqua, Rasheea, Shalesha etc are pretty bad too.

I do like Shorai (sho-rai), which is my nieces name, Knakia and Mia. (prepares to be ripped...)
I like Christopher-John, Stacey and Je-Vais for a boy. (I know, mad me!)

My name has been posted many times as a stinker which is funny, although I must add that although my name is hyphened, it is spelt and pronounced French.
