Of course you would, but I'm on about society in general
Anyway, it's never really PC for a guy to say it, but a girl can seemingly get away with more.
Yes, but look at the reaction.
FHM magazine and the like is sometimes seen by women as degrading, because it's just a load of men perving at women.
But then Heat magazine dedicates pages and pages to that Dennis bloke off Eastenders, and Dermot O'Leary and how yummy they are. Do you hear men whining on about how degrading this is to the male bodyform?
Women generally are more likely to get uppity about something, they really do take any chance to have a good old whine and get on their high horses.
Men just don't really give a fuck, and are more sensible about things.
hardly the same.
next time i see a pic of that dennis bloke oozing his nuts all over page three i'll agree with you.
dennis is hot btw i don't think i've seen him half naked in a magazine. if he is please show me where.
im not getting into this 'degrading to women' argument coz i never say that anyway
Surely there's not that much difference
Girls tend to look down on things like FHM, whereas they're just as bad for looking at pictures of blokes chests and the like.
Say David Beckham got sent off one time and took his shirt off and it was in the paper. Women across the country would be coo-ing at that, just the same as say someone like John Leslie's ex girlfriend was secretly photographed on the beach with her tits out, men would do the same.
all the girls i know like FHM
but then, i'm well past the 'more' stage.
Actually, there was a thing about this on Richard & Judy the other week, and this stupid bitch was arguing about how women found it degrading. And they did a word on the street thing, and a lot of those interviewed agreed
And I personally know several girls who flick through the sport pages on the paper every day, perving at all the footballers
Although I do admit attitudes are changing, and the younger generation of females seem a lot more relaxed about stuff like this.
Aah, More. Porn for the pre-teens.
I've said this before - It generally isn't the blokes that label girls sluts or easy, and if they do they see it as a GOOD thing not a put down. I hear nothing but other girls going on about "That slag" "That whore" "That dirty ripper".
There was a girl that once put on a show with a big bud bottle in front of some college guys. She didn't sleep with them but she was drunk, used the bottle on herself and they managed to take a couple of pics. The blokes virtually worshipped this girl - The other girls all labelled her a cheap dirty slut and a bucket fanny. There ya go.
explain `values`.
My husband has never gone out and clubbed the dinner to death, although its always me who cooks. I do 90% of the housework in my house as well as doing most of the childcare, and working 20 hours a week just to make the breadline.
I dont see much equality here, and with most of my friends its even worse. Its so ingrained into society and just accepted. I dont see how I am `looked after` in any way whatsoever. Most women are the ones that do the looking after of the whole family, then are now expected to go out to work because if they dont they are `letting the side down` or even worse `sponging off their husbands`.
If you think that most women are `looked after` by their husbands then you need to wake up and smell the coffee.
I've never been on a date like this. When I've been out with girlfriends, we've taken it in turns to pay.

Still think women's rights have gone too far?
So why do you except the situation in your own home if you don't agree with it?
I've never been out with a man who buys me stuff... I'm always the one shelling out cash what am I missing out on?
So refuse to do more than your share. If you don't make a stand he won't change.
yeh but the girls dont tend to get slagged off by guys they get slagged off by the so called 'less judgemental' women
and guys who tend to sleep around, the women love him thats why so :P
and on womens pay fair enough but i wouldnt be bigotted enough to pay a woman less for the same work, and anyway when the next big war happens women wont need to be front line troops, theyre forbidden by law
That is so true, so often, unfortunately.
what im saying is its not just me who has this, I believe this is how most marriages seem to end up, with the woman doing far more than her share, and just accepting it. Its more of a problem than just what my marriage is like, its what is expected of women in general.
So the problem is actually that you have differing expectations for the standard of upkeep of your living environment. Your husband is not responsible for your expectations, or do you expect to be able to oppress them upon him?
