    I think its a girl name. A bad name in general, but still a girl.

    I've never heard any of those as boys names. how about francis or kelly. i once knew a boy named kelly.

    But Julian is a genuine boy's name. No ambiguity.

    There was a girl in my year at school called Beetle.
    I also met a girl at V festival called Mescaline. I was so impressed, and she was impressed that I even knew what it meant. Apparently her mum was a punk rocker.
