I do Russian at University. Does that make me Russian? No.
You did Politics at University. Does that necessarily make you political? No.

I don't... I know both Socialism and Marxism seem to reject Capitalism though... But isn't Socialism less collectivist?

    Got any info on it?

All three of those are collectivist. They only differ as to who gets the benefits of that collectivism.

Just like the labour party and the tory party are both collectivist, but they argue over what they will do once they have violent control over the population.

    What Renzo said.

You bitch at other people for not knowing something, then don't provide any evidence for knowing it yourself. It's good manners to help somebody out... I mean if you don't like the fact that somebody doesn't know something, wouldn't you be pleased to educate them?

Provided you know and you don't just skim over pages of Wikipedia, or make shit up.

I get sick of having to repeat myself all the time. Do your own research.

Where did you last give that information?

I've given plenty of links to info about class, anarchism, labour theory of value, surplus labour etc in the past. I'm also at work at the moment and don't have the links to hand.

Fookin' hard. If you're not a linguist, I really wouldn't recommend it as it really is very hard indeed. If you did either Latin or Ancient Greek then a lot of the concepts will be familiar (ie, case system, absence of articles, no need for word order) but as I said, it's a toughie, even if, like me, you consider yourself a reasonably accomplished linguist.

socialism is democratic??? pfff. Yeah sure. Whatever you want to believe.

So someone who does science as their degree doesnt know science? Someone trains as a mechincal engineer and that means they are not qualified to be a mechanical engineer?? lol. Great line of argument.

Nationality comes from your birthplace and parenetage, not what you learn and is the most ridiculous back up for an argument really.

But whatever eh? Capitalism is bad, the world leaders are all out to get you and screw over the common man in tehir ivory towers and one day an army will rise from the streets and dipose them and all be right with the world and no problems will exist and we will all live on CandyLand Mountain.

Instead of going "pfff", how about telling us what you understand by the term "socialism" because it seems to be at odds with everyone else's.

Studying politics does not mean you understand the themes of political discourse any more than not studying politics makes you a clueless fool.

You do not understand what is meant by socialism and Marxism. And don't try and get into a pissing contest about qualifications, because there aren't many universities that are better than the one I went to.

Oh, and world leaders are screwing you over right as we speak. Whether you wish to see it for what it is, or you wish to believe that liberal "democracy" gives you a voice and protection is your choice.

Another ranting activist??? Or an armchair critic?? Think they can do a better job or maybe Gurerra could have done it better??

Jeez, get over it. The world leaders aren't as bad as you think. Are the pure saints? no. Are the devils incarnate? no. They are people. Human with all their flaws, doing a hard job and making th ebest of it for themselves and their people. Well most of them. Of course the dictators arent but then you can't touch them it seems. They arent the threat. they aren't the bad guys. they dont hurt anyone. They don't break any laws and it doesn't matter how much they mess up the election process and remain in power by force. As long as your not an american president, you are fine aren't ya?? free to continue in peace knowing that the students and the left wingers won't say a damn thing as they are too busy demonising their own democratically elected leaders to care.

uhh actually it is completely correct, much to the disdain of people running around claiming to be part of something they are not.

Wow, you said precisely nothing in loads of words. That's quite a skill you have there.

Now - what do you understand by socialism? 'cos whatever it is, you appear to have been misinformed.

Well you got that much right.

As for the rest of it, what an awful lot of meaningless verbiage. Such a shame you didn't actually answer a simple question.

I said more in those posts then the deluded ramblings of your posts.

There is no point answering any of your questions or saying anymore as you have already seen yourself as right and know all so saying anything will only have you discount, ignore and twist the whole thing.

You think there out to get you and your not gonna change your mind. I'm not going to try and change it for you. Your happy in your belief so stay with it. You can protest to anyone who will listen and get a bunch of self congratulatory pats on the back and I will continue to get on with my life.

You're still not actually saying anything. What is your defintion of socialism? Why do you say its not democratic? Are you just bluffing? Your public want to know.

uhh actually it is completely correct, much to the disdain of people running around claiming to be part of something they are not.

There is no nation. There are no races. There are no countries. They are solely in your head. Your claim that they come from external sources is completely laughable.

At one point, no one was pretending that there was such a thing as "britain". then someone had the idea to divide the world up along those fictitious lines. Then they convinced others. You have everything backwards.

Everyone is claiming to be a part of something they are not, i quite agree. It's just individuals and that's all.

You can safely ignore klintock though, he's autistic or something.

Nope, you are further up the autistic spectrum than I am. On one side we have "world as it is", on the other we have our wacky autistic friends who live through symbols and strange rituals. I am closer to "world as is" than you are. No real mystery to it.

Anyway, Blagsta (being the poster boy for nominalisation and non-referential experince) is well worth steering clear of, because he doesn't know what he means, never mind being able to clue you in to what he's going on about.

Heaven forbid you ask him for some direct, real, physical world evidence for his bizarre asertions and he will throw his toys out of the pram and probably get all emotional. :crying:

Nice bloke though, just a bit simple.

Klintock seems to have no capacity for abstract thought, so he's either autistic or he's a dog or some kind of rodent. My money's on the rodent.

hey Blagsta I think we actually agree on something.

Klintock- That is one wacked out, optimistic, unfounded theory I may have ever heard.

As long as you don't insist on me treating your "abstractions" as real I don't really care. Sadly, you are in favour of using violence to make people join in your delusions, making you far more rat-like than I can ever be.
