Nooo, it doesn't irritate me at all, probably due to the fact that almost everyone is taller than me anyway. It's just a bit strange when it's my baby boy who I used to bounce on my knee what seems like yesterday. He's nearly all grown up!

if you age starts with a 1, you are NOT old. not even slightly. unless you are 101. then you are REALLY old.
