I've had brown, yellow, blue speed but found that it never meant anything. The only colour that has ever meant anything to me was pink (Pink Champagne), because for a number of years it was consistantly the best speed you could get in my area. Fuck knows what gave it it's colour (somebody once suggested it was cut with strawberry Nesquik) but it was good.

No, i meant, the feeling of them is an inferior ecstasy buzz, and, I found that out for myself...

Pink champagne is usually just speed cut with red food colouring. The placebo effect being what it is, people will ascribe all sorts of different qualities to drugs if it is suggested to them. Having said that though, a red colour can apparently also be from the speed being made from red ephedrine (a chemical precursor) tablets - though I'd have thought this would be more likely to be methamphetamine, so maybe thats where the rumour comes from?

when i was in my pill prime i thought that aswell but took a bit of speed there a few weeks ago and it's far from an inferior buzz...

As I said it was consistantly the best speed we could get for years and was always from the same source. It could quite possibly be that it just wasn't 'as badly' cut as the rest.

All I know is that I have fond memories of it.

Best speed I ever had was oily putty like base. A 1/4 gram would keep me awake for over 2 days. Really bad for the head.

From the descriptions of the effects and appearance of 'pink champange' I've always thought it was meth, and if you are used to 'base' meth will completely blow you away.

The best speed i've had has been an orange/brick coloured tinted type, very sticky, almost like mud.

I've never heard of anyone having meth over here, it just hasn't exploded here yet.

Whats odd is that pure properly made amphetamine sulfate shouldnt have much smell, the myth of smell is normally acetone or another solvent, its added because people think strong smell = strong speed.

The exception with this I think is freebase, the grey paste which does have a strong smell.

nearly all speed i've had has been 'wet' like you say sticky and muddy. we used to just dry it out on a warm radiator if we wanted to snort it. i always preffered bombing it (eating). i made the mistake of bombing a gram one weekend thinking it was the same batch as the stuff i got the weekend before. i actually got a bit scared when i could feel my heart beating...

i bought some before and was told it was meth too, not sure if it was or not. i just thought it was good speed, it was crystally white

Dont dab it around your gums, its really bad for them and can lead to dental problems.

when i take it i just open the bag up, take a bit out with my finger and put it on my tongue and swallow it down with a drink, is that the same as putting it in the skin or am i doing some damage to somewhere in my body?

Its just that amphetamine isnt that nice to have sitting on flesh as it were, so as long as it is washed away by a drink straight away there should be no issue. But if you let it sit on your gums it will knacker them, or at least so I understand it anyway. And even if it doesnt it will give you nasty ulcers and they are worth avoiding.

Just tip some of it in a drink, amphetamine dissolves really really easily in water, so any left over solid in the glass isnt amphetamine.

The obvious thing there is not to do 'weekend long sessions'.

I would maintain that in terms of occasional use amphetamine is probably better for the body and safer than MDMA.

interesting...reminds me of a time me and my mate spilled some coke into feg ash and just poured it into a glass of water and drank it..not sure if it worked

If you mean coke as in cocaine then no it wont, cocaine isnt orally active, unless you take quite a lot.
