i knelt on mine, had a lovely burn mark on my leg which scabbed over. i then forgot about it and shaved the scab off. :crying:

i burnt my arm once whilst trying to straigten the back of my hair with straighners looked nasty, every one gossiped that it was self harm! :no:

i stepped on mine on saturday, have a nice straight burn on my foot now (luckily it didnt blister and they didnt break thank goodness)

have a small scar on my forehead from doing it, and one on my arm from ironing my friends hair a couple of years ago

I have a permanent scar on my shoulder from my friends very old school straighteners.... *glares in the direction of her friend* luckily it's only small, buta couple of years ago, i was straigtening her hair and I stopped and held it up... they slipped backwards and burnt my shoulder. I couldnt move it for days lmao.

The only burns I seem to get are on my scalp from the steam. Npt nice but at least I can keep them hidden.

Ouch! I once picked up my straighteners on the wrong side, which meant i had a sore burn across my palm for a couple of weeks!

I stood in mine once, yes in them.

Then in my faffle to free my ickle foot, I managed to stand on them again and clamp them down on my baby toe.

I always wondered if girls did that often, it seems like an accident waiting to happen.

I managed to burn my finger once after my girlfriend left her straighteners in one of the many ridiculous places she leaves them :-/

I have burnt my forehead before and had a blister, luckily thou I could cover it with my hair!!

Ive also burnt my hands before on em not watchin what Im doin!

I was well scared when do ing my hair this morning. All because of this thread. I kept thinking that if I keep thinking about not wanting to burn my ear I would burn my ear but then I went on to think, that its when your not concentrating you make mistakes so I really couldnt win:(
