Then why do you own any? I assume you do, and if so you should give it back to the place you got it from ASAP.

    That's not what Proudhon meant.

Absolutely spot on. Why is all the argument on here about what stolen cash is going to be spent on?

Or is it just me that thinks theft is wrong?

It was and will be spent on helping you. You want others to pay individually for things you got for free. That's why you're a vile hypocrite.

Why? YOu should set an example. You can start by giving away that computer you use to post drivel like this on:

Maybe if you actually understood what is meant by the statement "property is theft" you wouldn't write such embarassing drivel.

No, seriously, what are you on about?

"Government" didn't fund anything. The people it robbed did.

YOU benefitted. YOU want to make others pay for the benefits YOU enjoyed without payment.

    YOU are a hypocrite.

Explain please. You lost me. For starters money isn't even needed for human existence or even that real when we do use it.
    YOU are a hypocrite.

Please, enlighten me. On the other hand I have only ever met one man without conflicting beliefs and so I am probably am.

No, seriously, what are you talking about?

If you don't understand this one then it's no wonder you're suffering from your other problems. Best of luck in the future. I sincerely hope you never have to live in the utopia you'd want to create.

but a sense of security, sense of achievement, sense of a better future is needed for human existence, money provides this for the masses...

I break it down into its component parts and spoon feed it to you. How could I make it any simpler? Tragically it's not simple enough.

All of it a myth. theres no security anywhere. A meteorite can come out of a clear blue sky and strike you dead any moment. All bollocks I am afraid. Wish it was otherwise but it ain't.

Clinging to fiction is understable in the face of a cold universe where you are always one slip from death but that don't make it so.

There's no money, no countries. use the lies if you must but don't go telling me they are truth or that they are facts. It doesn't wash.

    Lol.

I buy it with the belief of money. It's not hard to follow Blagsta and I don't think you would be this persistent with me if you didn't know what I am on about.

sorry mate i didn't say anywhere that money brought security, or achievement or a better future i just said it brings a sense of these things for the masses, was it marx who said "religion is the opiate of the people" well today in the secularised world hardly anyone buys into religion, it's consumerism and money thats the new opiate, to bring people under control...now someone said you were a hypocrite, i do see a hypocosy in you, if it weren't for money, you wouldn't be sitting in front of a computer screen now, in fact you'd have very little, would you not be better off stripping naked and living in the forest or something (said n a non-offensive manner)

I have no problem in using the "lies of society", why should I have?

I just don't hold them as that essential.

I just don't cling to them. I do live very very frugally. I take little because I know I have no real connection with the stuff I have.

same here...i see where you're coming from but your theories are just too wild and idealistic in all honesty and i think you know it too...

Not really. It's more down to what I experience day to day and trying to match it to what is supposed to be happening. I seem to be unusual in that I reject the explanation when day to day doesn't hold up.

but there's no such thing as an utopia...we all know what should be happening but (and i know it angers you greatly) there's just nothing we can do about it...the current system...as flawed as it is...will do me grand...

'Society' as you see it (and wish it to be) died in 1979. Get over it. Move on.
LOL. Society is stronger than ever (despite the Mummy's best efforts). Sorry, Thatcherism is dead. Long live society :D

Youd be very. very suprised how many people earn high 5 or 6 figure salaries these days. They pay for wasteful, ineffieicnt public services which enfeeble the population and drive down economic power. They wont put up with much more. Hopefully, by then the whole nature of government will have changed.
Why don't we have a look at, say, your beloved USA and its low taxes as a case study?

Health service: non existent unless you're rich

    Public transport: utter shite

    Pensions and welfare: utter shite

    I rest my case...

Its pretty goddamn shoddy for the best NHS ever, wouldnt you say? No, the time will come (Id say in about a decade) when people will realise that centrally funded welfare systems are a waste of everyones money and time.
I'd say we're going the other way. A majority of people in this country believe in public services funded by taxation. It's the only way forward.

You pay the government money to build useess things you will never use. This cavalier attitude towards peoples earnings is sickening.
Not as sickening as the inhuman, revolting, faceless cruel ways of greedy rich bastards happy to see society destroyed and the great majority of the population suffering so they can save a few pennies in tax.

Luckily people who share your thoughts are outnumbered a thousand to one by decent people.

Wrong. Properly privitised services would end up being cheaper than what we pay in tax today. Not to mention more efficient and better providers.
Bullshit. It's the other way around, as it has been proven beyond doubt over the last 15 years (see water and train threads and news stories).

Profit-driven private companies cannot be trusted to run public services. End of.

No. Unlike you I am not hopelessly wedded to a system that should have been ditched in the 1980's, but because of Tory cowardice will splutter on for a decade longer before crashing to a fiery death, taking billions upon billions of taxpayers cash with it.
Gosh you live in a bizarre fantasy world do you not?

Every time someone votews Labour (and the Tories as they stand today) they are essentially asking the government to come to their house and take their possessions.
Out of curiosity, is there any party that reflect your views better than the Tories then?

Society doesn't exist, its a figment of an old Socialist's imagination as he sits besides the fire in his woolly cardigan sipping at a mug of hot chocolate, musing about "what might have been!"
The Great Lady was right, as always!

Ever lived in the US lamp boy? If so you wouldn't come out with such rubbish!

Its time politicans realised, and indeed were honest enough to admit it, that even if the NHS was given all tax revenue it would still not be able to deliver!
Labour love throwing money at problems, they think it solves problems, and it gets them off the hook of the more difficult task of actually examining the problem in detail to find a long-term solution. I tyhink they call it "short-termism"!
Not as sickening as the inhuman, revolting, faceless cruel ways of greedy rich bastards happy to see society destroyed and the great majority of the population suffering so they can save a few pennies in tax.
The government taxes us heavily then wastes it - we want More Personal Freedom and Less Big Government!

Bring the profit motive and genuine competition into a public sector activity and it'll get cheaper and better - just look at the Telecoms market!
Once under BT you had to go on 6-12 month "waiting list" just to get a phone line put into your home!
