So how did you do on your GCSE'S (however old)

Im 20 now

So round 4 years ago i think

i got 6 a-c

I never cared for school then, was the "didnt give a damn type"

    I sat my GCSEs in June 2001, and got myself 10 GCSEs all between grades A and C.

    Erm.. years ago now but i got..

    English lit - A
    English language-B
    History-B
    Sciences- CC
    French- C
    Maths- C
    I.T-C
    Technology- D

    Not bad really, i then went on to take 2 A-Levels in Biology and English lit, which i got D's for (not so good). Then i did NVQ level 3 in nursery nursing (merit), HND level4 (merit), now i'm doing a BA (hons) which i'm inline for a 2.1 (fingers crossed), then a P.G.C.E (post grad)..then finally i will be finished with learning and start my career in teaching! Will i ever escape the education system!!?? :eek:

    hmm, i sat maths in '99 and the rest in 2000, got 2 A*s, 5 As, and 3 Bs........oh life was bliss then, you think well that's the end of that.........5 years on still in bloody education.

    I did them 3 years ago.

    English Lit: B
    Maths: C
    Science 1: B
    Science 2: B
    Geography: B
    French: C
    Business Studies: A
    Food: C
    R.E: A
    And i think that's all the subjects we did i really can't remeber ha :/ I just remeber thinking dam i wished i had of revised cause if i could do ok with out trying then i might have got a little further if i did :p

    Since I never did GCSE;'s I will put the equivalent in Standard Grades:

    English -2
    Maths-1
    Business Management-1
    French-1
    Geography-1
    Chemistry-1
    Biology-1
    Technical Design-2

    Sat them in 2001, *1 is the highest BTW, the grades go from 1-7 with 7 being a fail*

    and i got another B for something.. but i dont quite no what :P

    i did a lot better in last years AS levels though :D A,A,B,C,C :) quite chuffed actually
    more exams soon!

    Took mine in 2002 and got:
    english lang - A
    food tech - A
    english lit - B
    french - B
    history - B
    science - BB
    maths - C

    I also did GNVQ IT where i got a merit, AS levels in bio, chem, english lit and psychology where i did crap, A2 in english lit - C and an AVCE double award in health and social - AB. now im doing my degree in nursing

    I took them last year, and I got:

    English Lit: A
    English Lang: A
    History: A
    Business and Communication Systems (don't ask): A
    RE: B
    Maths: B
    Double Science: BB
    Art: C
    Statistics: C
    Graphics (Foundation because I didn't hand my coursework in on time even though I got an A in the Mock): C

    I now have IBness. God knows what I'm predicted. Probably no 7's, a couple of 6's if I try hard enough, a load of 5's and a couple of 4's. Yay?

    english lang - c

    history - b (4 marks off an A, so gutted)
    geography - b
    music - c
    french - a

    im now doing AS biology, AVCE health and social i got E, D an U in my first modules
    im also doin GCSE art

    GCSEs aren't worth fretting about though, as long as you have some.

    ETA: I took mine in 1999. And I should ahve done better, but I couldn't be arsed. Don't regret it now, though I did when I was filling in my UCAS form.

    In 2000 I got 8A*s and 2As. Was disappointed about the two English grades. I've learnt a lot since.

    I did mine in 1998, got 8 A's and 2 B's. Was predicted better but as usual I was lazy.

    Then went on to get 1B and 3C's for A-Level....

    Now I keep promising myself I'll work and get a 1st in my degree....but what am i doing? I'm postin on here rather than working. :rolleyes:

    did mine in 2000 and got 2cs, 4ds, 2es and 2fs

    then i did intermediate health and social care (1 year) and advanced health and social care (2 years) and the school's 6th form

    now im just finishing advanced business - will finish in june!
