This is probably slightly off-top for the thread - but Azim Ansari's (mentioned earlier in this thread) has had recent appeals to stay in the UK refused, and he currently faces deportation after March 13th - even though it is not safe for him to return to Arghanistan and even though he is currently well into an engineering degree at Oxford University.
A website in support of the campaign to Keep Azim In Oxford and allow him to finish his degree has been set up , including an online petition at http://www.KeepAzimInOxford.org.uk/petition/
