Good lipgloss. Because glossy lips just make everyone look so, so pretty. They can be neutral for the day, or glam for the night. I have so many different colours and brands. It's one thing I don't scrimp on. Clinique is my favourite at the moment, but I'm open to recommendations. :)

Also, if you're feeling flush, Stila's All Over Shimmer is the bee's knees. Goes everywhere and makes you look all tanned and shimmery. SEX <3

Lush's Imperialis moisturiser and B Never too Busy to Be Beautiful foundation. Highly recommended for combination skin. I also really like Bourjois Coup de Theatre mascara, here is a bit fiddly at first but makes your lashes so long and lush...

And for pampering, any of the lush bubble bath slices and bath bombs. Add one to a bath and I'm in Jade heaven.

    How about you, Rainbow?

    Rimmel "hide the blemish"!

I hate teenage hormone sensitive skin!

i second that rimmel hide the blemish. i've tried all sorts to get rid of the dark circles under my eyes (hate hate hate), and this cheap and cheerful one does the best job.

fcuk cream blush in 'flush'. actually looks like you're slightly flushed and healthy, and not like you had an accident and the make-up counter like most other blushers. and stays on all day. and all night, actually. i know that's bad.

tresemme colour hair stuff. i don't care if it coats you hair in crap or it's derived from pigs testicles or whatever else the hair snobs will have you believe. it's cheap, it smells nice, and it makes my hair beyoodiful. :thumb:

and then my two lip glosses of the minute: rimmel jelly gloss in 'moreish' (like those juicy tube things, but a fifth of the price) and almond/olive/mint wonderbalm from boots mediterranean range. the nicest smelling thing ever. EVER. no contest. i get it out ever so often just to sniff it.

I always return to eight hour cream.
I might have endless of other lipglosses and balms, but that one is the best and easiest.

I bought some Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream and it wasn't what I expected. Is it supposed to be brown and thick?

Well not dark brown. But more beigeish golden, and thick and greasy and smelly.
But it workds wonders, and you'll get used to it :)

I agree. ANYTHING by MAC. Their sales assistants recognise me by now. All my eyeshadows, most of my lip applications as well as my brushes are by them.

I have the juicy tube lancome thing. Good stuff.

Though the best mascara ever, is by Dior. They're so much better than anything else I have tried.

I'm from the 'less is more' school of beauty - Vaseline is just incredible for everything; you can use it as lip balm/gloss, a highlighter if you use a tiny bit on your cheeks, a makeshift mascara (it darkens your lashes and actually conditions them too), and if you use it to slick your eyebrows into shape then you look v.groomed. I also love Carmex cos it's slightly tingly and stimulates blood flow to your lips so they go redder and shiny.... Couldn't live without 'em!

Ah vaseline is a must have for me, just great for lips all year round, and no 7 lash extensions mascara from boots is great makes my lashes look long but natural.
clean and clear blemish cover up by avon is good to just dab on things you don't want seen! and avon light reflecting highlighter is great for cheeks and eyes :)

I really like this too. Ive spent a long time searching for a really good shampoo and conditioner and I really think this stuff is ace. It makes my hair lovely, it doesnt build up, its reasonably priced. Mr Brite really likes their hair fibre putty stuff. He says its the best one hes tried, and hes tried quite a few.
Apart from that I dont know if I have any must haves. I was hoping for hints really, but then again, ive tried stuff on others recommendations before and been disappointed. ie forked out a small fortune on touche eclat after a few people recommended it here, but wasnt impressed.
I like cliniques superbalanced make-up. I also like rimmels lasting finish one for a budget buy.
I love most things from lush, but my favourite from there is the Aqua mirablis bar. Its absolutely heavenly. smells of peanut butter and makes you reeeeeeaaaallly smoooooooth.

Can we include hair straighteners? If yes, Remington Wet2Straight. They save my life.

Also, Dianette for giving me clear skin.

Forget concealer, try Avène Soothing Eye Contour Cream, from Boots. It`s about 8 quid. It says to put it on the eyelid, ignore that and use it underneath.

ooh god yeah, those too. i've got those bright pink ones - i sent mr. kaff out to get some cheapy tweezers one time, and some genius had swapped them round so he thought they were £2, so bought them cause he knows i like pink things (bless him. and bless him even more for not shitting himself and still buying them when he got to the till and they were actually £12 <3) you wouldn't have thought there would be that much difference in something like tweezers, but oh my god, there really is.

i really doubt anything would get rid of mine. they are hardcore. i have been trying for years. drinking more water, sleeping more, eating fruit, yellow toned concealer, touche eclat (which was crapper than rimmel, tbh) nothing.

i have settled on semi-concealing them and permanently looking like i've bee awake 4 days straight. beats the cakey make up look hands down.

So how do you use yours? After reading the instuctions it seemed to me to be more for dry skin so I use it on my feet when I've got dry skin, or on my elbows.

B Never Too Busy to B Beautiful from Lush is a shower gel that smells like lovely honey, its not foundation. I have some at home, but I am saving it because you can't buy it anymore.
