iv put on a stone since last summer and it took so much effort to lose it and now i feel like it wasn't worth it at all.
and i don't even eat any shit at all. im a healthy eating person although i do like certain stuff(!) i don't eat it all the time like some people.
And sodding easter i asked not to have any eggs but i got them anyway, and now theyre sitting there and i keep eating them even though i dont want them.
and summers comin up faster and faster and i have to wear a swimsuit <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif"> which i am dreading especially with the cellulite.
last summer i was eating just two meals a day and no snacks or sweet things at all, and i wasn't thin, just thinner, at least i would probably have fit into a certain pink dress in topshop that i desperately wanted to get.
but snce i put it all on again, iv got really paranoid about everything, and it doesn't help when my ex bf is always calling me a fat bitch and everything.
And when i was thinner i used to have more confidence and people liked me more, but now i have just become more and more of a recluse and a lazy fat person <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif">

no way am i wearing a swimsuit! if i do ill be wearing a skirt or shorts too, and somehow avoiding the sea... dont know how. or just NOT go to the beach like ive managed to not go swimming for years, even though its the only sport i love. i didnt at first coz i hated the spots on my back, then they mostly went away when i went on the pill, but they've started coming back <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"> then after that it was my stomach and thighs that stopped me from wearing a swimsuit. its just not really my idea of fun wearing that little clothing in public!! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif">
sorry im not being much help am i!! lol... i just know how you feel. my problem is too little exercise, make that none. i eat when im hungry, and i prob do eat too much crap, but i eat fruit and stuff too. *sigh*

good grief, my 6 yr old daughter is not far off 6 stone & my 8 yr old son is nearly 6½ stone.

5000 calories is roughly equal to about one pound of fat and is what an average person eats in 2 days. If you completely starve yourself for a week, I mean COMPLETELY without letting a morsel of food pass your lips you will lose no more than 3 1/2 pounds of fat.
So in simple terms, starving yourself achieves nothing except illness. If you really want to lose weight, eat 3 GOOD meals a day, by all means cut out crap stuff as long as you dont cut anything else out. And exercise a little each day.
So please, to everyone out there who is worried about your weight, as long as you eat healthily, and reguarly you lose weight eventually.

it shouldn't be about losing lbs, but more about losing inches. <uscle weighs more than fat so with excercise you could end up weighing more but looking better.
My advice - eat sensibly, exercise (at least 20 minutes at a time), throw away the scales & get out the tape measure.

i know this may sound bad so please dont all hurl abuse at once!! but, if u dont lose (much) weight by starving urself, then how come anorexics become so skinny???
U do loose weight by starving yourself but what happens is when u starve yourself your body stores up all the food u have left oin it so at first u dont appear to loose much. But its obviose that u will loose weight if u never eat, u also loose your muscles too coz your body is desperate for food and starts on them!!!

Yeh but if you stop going regularly you'll find you put on weight cos the muscle you been building up turns to fat.

Ummm....I think I can see your problem clearly. Last summer when u said u were only eating two meals, and you lost weight, and now you've put it on- that's a symptom of a fad diet. Eating two meals a day is a fad diet- it couldnt possibly have sustained you. Fad diets never ever ever work because you cannot keep them up for life. Once you go back to eating normally again, the weight will come back on!!
The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat healthily, try and cut out junk and exercise. It is hard, soemtiems slow work, but you will keep it off.
