Hey all!!
I went into boots this morning and put £10 on my phone using my O2 top-up card (that ive used loads by the way). i checked my balance+it still said 4p, so i looked on the receipt+it said 'top-up successful' But it still hasnt gone on!!!! I mean, i topped up at 10am, and its now 3:20!!
Can i go back to Boots and get my money back, or should i just wait???

Speaking of top ups. I'm with 3 and they've screwed me over.
you used to get either 100 mins + 25 txts( i think) to spend on anthing
now they took away the 25 of the other so I have to spend £5 on an add on = £20 per month.
Top ups also run out after 30 days no matter how much you have left
*sidles away slowly*
How the hell have you got so many posts all of a sudden?! :P
And then I looked at what you've been posting
How did you not notice? And my method is much in the style of the above.
How can you spend £50 on a top up? You make it seem like you have someone to talk to
by not being bright enough to realise you'd probably be better off on pay monthly.
sorry
im so glad you posted this! The same has just happened to me.
Theres only 2 threads about it already!
I worked in an O2 shop for a while this summer and the system was down once. The amount of abuse I recieved would have reduced a lesser man to a shivering wreck!
i was being sarky:p

Just to add Its still currently down
That's disgusting. I've heard SO many bad things about them.
My top up went through overnight btw
When i also worked in a mobile phone shop people moaned about 3, especially on the payg tariff due to the credit running out after 30 regardelss of if you had used all your credit or not, which just shitty these days.
Interesting that you say that. It was pretty difficult for me as well. On my first attempt, I turned up with only my debit card. What they need is a household bill, a personal statement or a driver's license. Passports are not allowed! I don't drive and I live away from my billing address so that leaves me with my personal statement. On the second attempt, I brought my statement in and my address was a P.O. box one. I should have looked at it more carefully before I booked an hour off work! Third time lucky, I found a standard banking letter with updated interest rates with my home address written on it so that got accepted and I moved onto a contract phone.
Something for nothing at least.
Though i need my credit and free texts so i dont know what to do !!
Nothing to do with the 3 thing, apologies if what i said was construed that way
nah tis all cool, i didnt mean my response to be nasty if it sounded that way
