Yeah, piss easy. I would highly recommend everyone going on the dole, it's easy money and you get it instantly!

Have you actually ever claimed benefit?

    No, didn't think you had.

    ...which is what happens.

Before sentencing a psychological report is comissioned anmd put before the court, in order to determine how badly the person has been affected, and in what ways. For the most part it is obvious that the person is loopy, but not loopy enough to be sectioned.

It's amazing how none of this ever reaches the pages of the Sun though.

I bet we both understand it better than you do. Because The Sun is factually inaccurate about, ooh, 90% of the time.

They employ Dominic Mohan and Richard Tinyprick, after all.

You guys ought to come up here to Stoke. You would be bloody amazed!!!! take come pills with you just incase you faint!

You seem to be lifting the "ways to claim benefit" straight out of the myraid of Sun editorials for the last 25 years.

The simple fact is that, in most cases, it is simply not true. Elements of it are probably true, but it is grossly over-hyped and over-exaggerated to make benefit claimants look like lazy, bone-idle morons.

Given your age I presume you have never claimed benefits. Therefore I doubt you know just how much work there actually is involved in actually getting the bastards to give you anything. I have to say that I was amazed at how many hoops there are to jump through, and I take the rantings of the right-wing tabloids with a truckload of salt.

    Oh, and two little things:

    1. I was lucky that my parents had a credit card that could buy me my shopping.

    2. Your postings last night look like they are taking the piss out of my mental health. I suggest you retract what you said, because I take great offence when people take the piss out of my mental health. Just some friendly advice, yeah?

    He understands The Sun.

The Sun is written aimed at a reading age of nine.

    Go figure.

I'm surprised you didn't say "ooh, swearing only shows you are illiterate!", to be quite honest.

Point A. I am depressed, very depressed. So shove that up yoru arse and do the hokey-cokey.

Point B. I'm not incapacitated, and Incapacity Benefit isn't worth living on anyway.

the reason stoke has so many people on benefits is because it is a shithole ...there are very few jobs ...everything has closed down.
by the way ...only leftwing people and immigrants know how to swear propper like.
i've just noticed ...the word imigrant has the word grant in it!
would that be sosial security grant?

    Says who?

Prove it. And not with an opinion piece from the right-wing tabloids.

I would look normal if you met me in the street, I would look fine. I have serious issues, I could claim incapacity, I just don't want to, because I could earn more.

    And?

Do you know them, or do you just hear "ooh, Mavis' Bob says he's got a dodgy back, but I saw him putting up some shelves!"?

GWST's sister looks healthy, GWST has been abused before for parking in disabled bays with her; her sister has a heart defect that could kill her. So, y'know, looks can be deceiving.

And, even if Mavis' Bob IS cheating the system, it isn't a huge problem. Not in the context.

how did a thread about criminal sentancing end up a thread about fake wooden legs and eye patches then?

Stoke? I literally live a stone's throw away.

A murder took place near here once. A stone's throw away in the other direction mind. But the "word on da street" was that the man who was murdered was accused of raping the daughter of the guy who murdered him. Maybe that man got less time because it was a crime of passion?

I'm trying desperately to get this thread back on track, as I found it very interesting.
