I got this picture as an mms message a short while ago from a number unknown to myself, though the number did show up.

Does anyone know what and where this actually is..

Im curious coz the message with the pic said " guess where i was today" :eek2:

    The British are terrible with their geography & such, hahaha. Mate, come on. I live in Belgium and if anyone from here didn't know what that was, then even then, I'd be genuinely worried.

    On one of my trips to the UK, someone asked me where I was from. I told them and they replied with 'Oh Belgium! Yes, I know that place. It's near Brussels isn't it?'

    but they haven't been constantly in the media for the past few years.

    same way anyone of my age should recognise the angel of the north, cause there was all that hoo ha about it years back. never off the news.

    It has been in the media a lot, but I think the "hahaha you don't know the Eye you bozo!" comments are a bit unfair.

    There are lots of things people don't know; how many people know what Lindisfarne is? How many people know where Sauchiehall Street is?

    It's easy to criticise, but unless you know a lot you should be quiet. Some people on here criticising are only doing it because they know shit themselves.
