Longish gelled down hair thing

Hi i dont know what its called but i wanna change my hair style.
Iv been liking the hair where is not long but longish and goes down just over the eyes. Also i think its slightly gelled to give it a wet look and so the hair its like split from eachother rather than together if you know what i mean.
Again its kinda like Tom DeLonge's hair from blink 182.
My hair aint long enough yet but can someone advise me on how i can get my hair like this once its grown please?

No no no its just because iv always wanted to look like a punk but never really known what i like (if that makes sence). Plus iv been told i look a bit like him and want a change so im gonna get a few bits done to myself (i.e. the hair and lip).

Anyways...to look like Tom:
1) dye hair black
2) cut hair into same style
3) buy "skate shorts" and tight tees
4) get tattoo sleeve on left arm and pierce lip
ps...take a photo of the style you want to a hairdresser, and they should sort you out!

Anyway iv got black hair already but its not long enough to look like toms yet. I guess the hairdresser will tidy me up but not take much off so that i can grow it

anyways, if your heart is set on it you need to gel it in sections of however fat you want the different locks to be.
have an undercut where they clipper the back bit at the bottom of your hair or it'll look weeeeeird
But it looks crap when i do it down and im stupid and dont know how to make it look good lol
but i thought it was too short to look like Tom's just now anyway?? Its really gotta be long enough to actually hang away from your face, if you get me, otherwise it will just look slapped to your head, and noone wants to look at that
go easy on the gel too! a bit of wax might be a better plan, come to think of it
So untill its long enough, what do you suggest i do with it in the meantime?

Well at the moment it looks like armstrongs from green day. for those who dont know its the guy with the black hair thats messy and gelled. I think thats his name anyway.
I went to the stylists yesterday and they sai i need to grow it more but for now i could use a little tidying up. So iv had it tidyed a little and now gotta let it grow.

By the way the main pic is my pet snake, i have a pic of me on the pics page. My hair is longer now then it is in the pic, now my hair comes down to just above my eyes.

Hi lexxie, dont worry about the gel issue i hardly use any because i also use wax to make my hair stick up and messy.
cos people who arent really in2 piercing tend to say that. its just them being protective+not wanting the person 2 'ruin' their face. also then they can say hah if anything goes wrong :rolleyes:
my view is u might as well get done if things go wrong/u decide u dont like/suit u can take it out.better than thinking 'ooo if id got my lip pierced..'
js make sure is something u want.before i get any new piercings i make sure i like the idea for quite a while before i actually get it done
