Can't believe I'm posting about this but IMO the latest twist currently was bang out of order. I'm talking about them forcing that girl into nominating another member with a 'Judas Kiss'.
I thought they had psychologists involved in this show, nominating is bad enough but using an act of affection to do so is just twisted.
Yes I know nominations is what its all about but there's other ways and means.

god.. they need a new show.. channel four are letting themselfs slip
course it wouldnt be cancelled. that was the most exciting thing to happen on Big Brother in 5 years. however, they knew that Emma couldnt be put back into the house so they didnt put her back in.
Big Brother 5 was always going to be mean and this (the "Judas Kiss") was expected tbh. im not saying that i agree with it and how they did it (far from it, i thought it was below the belt) but i am just staying that BB was never going to be nice or fair in this series. they want to make it interesting as the last couple of years have been boring. they need the audience otherwise it will be cancelled.

I do lurve Big Brother. Been more fights, bitchiness and love making - No point complaining that Big Brother was wrong do this and that, as at the end of the day that's whats bringing the audience to watch it more. They all signed a contract and knew what they were getting themselves into - So if anyone to blame it would be themselves.

i agree with all this. they needed to do something drastic in order to make the show exciting as last year it was very dull. they have succeeded.
If this is people's idea of entertainment, I'm not surprised people are always dissing Big Brother.
Actually, Stuart trying to shrug off the tart is funny and The Jungle Cats' reaction to her big secret will be really entertaining, so kick Marco out.
Fair enough if it was about this thread but she was just being silly, quoted that person, getting personal by complaining they were using (...) between their words. That's just trying to start something and doing things like that always ends up getting the thread closed.

I'm genuinely interested how it is "entertainment". I know it's "entertaining" like a car crash is, but other than morbid curiosity I just don't get it.
The contestants belong in a loony bin anyway, I'd only watch if one of them completely lost it. And even then it'd be boring unles there was actual death involved.

The show is all about psychology. The psychology of group interaction. We're all interested in it. How friendships are made, broken, reformed, et. How people can be two faced, and how they bitch about each other behind each others backs. How they form allegiances against others. Make their own little groups, their gangs, their cliques.
Now, where do you see a group of people from different backgrounds thrown together that have to get on and live and work together? Easy! .....You see it every day at work! Watch the programme, think about the way people interact in the BB house, and at your work place. Isn't' there more than just a passing resemblance to the way people behave? Can't you identify some characters, and personalities, and behaviours? We're fascinated at watching it in another group, and how it mirrors and reflects our own work lives. Hopefully we learn something from it, such as not being so bitchy, and don't fall out with people, and stop to think about how other people perceive us when they come in and see how we work together. Hopefully we'll learn something about ourselves, and how to be better people by watching others mistakes.
