    And if the protestors really did start it then they would have been arrested too for breach of the peace, but they weren't.

    You don't know for sure so it's speculation, if it goes to court you'll know a lot more

    And if that is so then they would have been charged as well, for breach of the peace. B.O.P has to be sorted out on the spot, you can't realistically arrest someone a week later for it.
    Yes, they spat at him, but a political candidate should know better, especially a candidate from a party as unpopular as his.

    Like I said, if he wasn't there to persuade people, then why was he there? Traditionally the only councillor who votes is the mayor or the prime minister. They are the only ones who make a fuss of it anyway. The rest usually choose to abandon their regalia before they enter. I'll bet he was stood outside with all his BNP rosettes on his suit telling people how bad the big black people are. Thats why he was spat on.

    Who said anything about bringing it to my job? Am I on duty now? No.

    During work hours I am the model of impartiality, I have NEVER let my personal feelings dictate what I do. However I see no reason why I cannot express my legitimate view (which is also held by the government and every other political organisation in the UK) that the BNP are absolute scum. They disgrace this country, they disgrace the flag and make me wish I lived in Germany, because at least they have learnt the lessons of Nazism and World war 2.

    Maybe back in the 70's, but in case you haven't realised the police has changed significantly. Most of the cops on duty in the 70's are long retired.


    Besides, I thought the NF were the armed front of the BNP.

    But even if it was - its valid self defence IMO. The BNP are a violent fascist party who want to establish fascism in the UK. Any action to stop that is communities protecting themselves.
