And as for the breakdown by borough, 30 out of 32 have white majority. The two that don't have a non-white majority of 60.6% and 54.7% respectively.

But then I suspect when talking about non-whites your definition of 'overwhelming' is clearly different from the rest of us. I suspect that if out of the 60 million who live in this country 1 person happened to be non-white you'd still use the word wouldn't you?

There's something to consider though.
The population of the UK is aging. That may mean it could strink in the near future.
If that were to occur then we would need more people in the workforce (plus reforming the pension system but that's another argument).
Immigration may be the best solution to the problem of a shrinking number of people of working age.
Besides most immigrants want to simply LIVE IN PEACE and work hard to support themselves and their families. How is that so reprehensible?
If you were in India earning the equivalent of a pound a day, wouldn't you want to come to the UK to earn more?
