Thank you for tagging us in this post to flag this situation to us. We can see that there has been some disagreement that has arisen in this thread. One of the key principles of our Community is that there is diversity whether that be in experiences, views or communication styles. We also want to mention that tone of voice is super important when using text-based platforms online, which can make it tricky to convey intentions or how someone may interpret your messages. Please be mindful of how your messages could come across by giving them a read over before you click send. It may be helpful to consider how you might feel if you were on the receiving end of one of your messages.

There are options on both the Discussion Boards and our Group Chats to minimise interaction with other users. We want to encourage you to use these tools because this can allow you to put boundaries in place and protect your own well-being whilst allowing everyone to still continue to use Community spaces. Using these tools would not make you a bad person, but we just ask that this decision is not announced or told to the person as it may make our spaces feel more uncomfortable for everyone. On the Group Chats, there is a ‘mute’ option which will stop you seeing the user’s messages, but you will still be able to see that they are in chat. Muting lasts for the duration of the chat you are in, unless you choose to unmute the user. Nobody will be able to see who you have muted, including the moderators. We encourage using this feature to prevent further disagreements and tension in the chats, so that the chats can continue without disruption. Definitely Ado, she's my favourite singer! I don't know whether you've heard her music but she has the most powerful voice ever and I absolutely adore her (I gush way too much about her music lol)

That's awesome, you've been listening to phonk for quite a while then! I think I got into J-pop a few years ago (so about 13 or so) and found out about Ado a couple years ago. She was actually the reason I started learning japanese ^^

Aw thanks 💙 I'm by no means fluent or anything, but I can understand some anime without english now, and I'm just recently branching out into reading books on paper which is hard 😭 Knowing a bit of russian is cool, it's a beautiful language!
