Hey folks, so one little fact about me is that I really love space. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about science, but I've always been fascinated by space, the planets, stars, etc. I just think it's beautiful, and that there's something oddly comforting about the idea of just how small this little planet is in the wider picture of things, and how we all belong to Nature - there's place for all of us.
I don't know if you've heard, but there is soon to be a meteor shower in the sky which is supposed to be the best of the year! You can learn more here: https://www.onlygoodnewsdaily.com/post/the-best-meteor-shower-of-the-year-is-about-to-begin.
Are you interested in space? Did you see the Northern Lights during the flares earlier this year? Do you find space scary or comforting?
Lets get into it!

I heard about the meteor shower coming soon! I think the best night to see it is Monday, hopefully the stormy weather clears up so we can get a good view. I've never seen a meteor shower before so excited to try and see it for the first time! I've seen the Northern Lights both here and abroad and they were simply stunning. I also caught the planetary parade a few months ago and that was jaw-dropping to be able to see!
How about you? What space events have you seen this year?
I do love it when the northern lights come out too (although I often kept missing them coz I was asleep). I did manage to catch a bit of them one night and they were stunning
can't wait to see other peoples space-based thoughts and feelings
Space is such a fascinating place and I find it amazing that we get meteor showers, shooting stars and comets and all. I find space calming actually.
