This one, even though i'm not into boxing is good life advice that might be good for you too. Gonna sound a bit boring but the Poem IF- was a really good one for me as well, about holding on when there's nothing left in you but the will to hold on. Maybe worth a read.

I've had a more difficult day than I expected, but I managed to get into the garden for a couple hours so that was nice (if very hot, still sweating)
Gonna have my nice dinner and a nice drink now and a evening watching nice TV like Amandaland

@independent_ Happy to hear your making the most of the weather and are having a great meal to go along with it. And you were super helpful in the group chat. You always are.
@River the thing is, you don't want to be put on a path in life that you don't want to be on, and have others plan it for you according to there likes and thoughts. If you think it's dodgy and unrealistic then it's best to not do it. At the end of it, it'll be you stuck with the consequences not anybody else. Only do what you want to do.
These are the things they want me to do
Drive = 1-2,000
Do this course = ยฃ1,500
Then set up a business after the 10 days = ยฃ3,000 ish
But where the fuck they think Iโm getting the money from

Theoโs just done a really horrible thing, he came staggering through to the kitchen with his mouth absolutely clamped shut. Almost as if he was panicking. We thought he might have swallowed a wasp or something but not sure. It was really upsetting to see and thatโll be me for the rest of the day now
Heโs had some water and lying in a cool room now and seems ok
@River you don't have to have it figured out at 18. I finished uni at 22, and am 23 now and am still trying to figure things out. As i mentioned, my cousin started a new life in germany at 25, then a new life in the US, soon after, then a new career in his 30's, then a new one in his 40's. It's insane. It's never too late to start. There's no set age you have to figure it all out by. Again, if everybody was supposed to have everything figured out at that age, 99% would have failed.

@eylah sorry i'm so late with this reply, had my brother melting down again and had to make sure he didn't attack anybody (seems to be getting back into the habit of it sadly). Eylah, i know it sounds useless these words, but you've survived so much already. People would have broken facing a tenth of what you have. You are a strong person, and i know it's small consolation, but i'm for you, my fellow twat
@independent_ make sure you keep a close eye on him. Just in case. I'm sorry you had to see him like that, but so long as he's a happy boy now, that's all that matters.
@River mine expected me to get a high paying tech job straight out of uni and although she's never said it, she is disappointed in me. She never had interest in supporting me through education, never showed to parents evenings or anything, she hired 2 tutors for my sister in french and maths, none for me when i asked. i wanted to go into medicine but my chemistry grades were average so i went into the IT sector instead where they were higher, went to uni, my mum then started to say well done (she thought my sister would go to uni but she didn't), and when i graduated, i told her before hand the state of the tech sector and how it might take some time for me to land a job in it. She fucked off the moment i walked off stage and i had to ask the maintenance man to take a photo of me after. She's been treating me like a disappointment since for not having it all figured out. It sucks, but at the end of the day, it's my life, and my path, not hers.
Don't let others dictate your path or your pace through life River. Most people haven't even got things figured out in there 30's. You'll find your pathway eventually, and when you do, you'll do great.
It was really scary and it just really upset me and I canโt stop checking heโs ok.
