@Redemption yeah, it sucks doesn't it. I've seen an old women get sent to the floor by it, and the driver just kept driving. Like, they could just wait until people are seated. It's not as if the bus is gonna be on time anyway.

@DonnerKebab yh exactly, it's dangerous especially old people or vulnerable people. I think it's important if you want to and can to drive then you no longer have to deal with this stuff but people have different priorities tbh.

@Redemption a lot of the elderly and disabled don't have any other choice but the bus which makes it even worse for them

@DonnerKebab yh exactly, it's ridiculous. They are so late as well and just when I was on the chat the bus had no numbers on like its absolutely useless.

@Redemption the worst is when they miss bus's out. Sorry i took a while to respond, they put me on spam block and then had to sort something else out. Your not going on too much at all bro. Glad to see you casting your vote against. It's not worth it.

Outside of a wet tea towel on your head to cool yourself down, that's really the best 2 options. Has your sunburn got any better?

@eylah have you tried aftersun cream?
  • independent_independent_ Community Connector Posts: 9,729 Supreme Poster
I swear by aftersun @DonnerKebab but stick it in the fridge first if you have any @eylah, it cools the burn right down if it’s refrigerated. My partner got an awful awful sunburn on our first holiday together :joy: we went through a shit ton of the stuff and just kept it in the mini fridge in our room. Taking some with us when we go in 3 weeks time, but hoping we won’t need it as much (I think that’s put the fear into him about using enough suncream on holiday, we are brits, we burn).

Also, bit hot eh? It’s 26 degrees in my room rn and the fan is only helping so much.

I’m in bed now, hoping for a better day tomorrow. I won’t go into detail about the shit in my brain from today but I think i just need a good sleep, wasn’t helped by the fact the day was started by a really horrible dream. I was back at school and I got stuck in one of their accessible toilets in the dark because the light wasn’t working. It sounds really stupid to have been scared by that as a full grown adult but here I am :joy:

Hope you’re all keeping cool, though if you’re anything like me you’re probably not! I think I’m about 74% of the way to being a roast potato at this point (cheers for the comparison @DonnerKebab lol)
