Autism and supported living

Hello.

I had a meeting with the manager of my supported housing. I expressed to her that I did not feel the support was structured to accommodate my needs. She asked how I wanted the help to meet my requirements, and asked some other questions, and I struggled to articulate my responses. It made me feel very low.

I have been feeling worried about how my autism will have an impact when I go into long-term housing.

I hear you @Creativeboy23, especially with not being able to articulate what you needed and wanted. Is there a way which might help you to articulate this more clearly?

For example, is there a method of communication you feel more comfortable with? I sometimes find writing things down more accessible. Could you maybe take someone you feel comfortable with?
