@toffuna101, yes of course this is definitely achievable! there are plenty of revision strategies to help you get the grades you want, such as active recall, blurting...etc. What A -Levels are you taking?

english literature, sociology and psychology @kaii

@toffuna101, oh wow this is a really interesting subject combination! I managed to get an A in Psychology and what I found really helpful was practising past papers and ensuring that I knew the content (I liked blurting when topic tests came up, and flashcards are really good). Taking notes in your own words is good too as it shows you understand the topics

I hope that these strategies work for you! No worries if not since everyone is different. As for English Literature and Sociology, I think the same techniques can be applied. <3

thank you for giving me those suggestions @kaii ill definitely use those to get that A in psychology. once i get back into school tomorrow ill start doing practice questions for each topic (yes, there are already practice questions to be done within the first week of school).

@toffuna101, no worries at all! I hope that the strategies are effective and that you get the As you've been aiming for! Remember to prioritise your mental wellbeing whenever the journey to getting an A becomes difficult though, since it can certainly be challenging achieving good grades

Good luck with starting college tomorrow! Let us know how it goes <3

Does this feel achievable to you @toffuna101 with the strategies mentioned above by @kaii - is there anything which has not been mentioned that you usually find most helpful for your studies? We believe in you!

However, your wellbeing is also really important to us and sometimes pressure can take a toll. Is there anything which might be able to support you more generally throughout this time of trying to achieve these grades as well?

For me, colouring, music and reading are big destressers but I appreciate we are all different. We are here for you to discuss what this might look like for you if you wish to explore this with us. It might also change across the year and that is okay too <3

@toffuna101, how did your first week go? I did psychology at alevel too and managed to get an A*. I think the biggest thing is actually believing that you can get the grades you want. It's also really helpful to talk to your teachers (maybe after class sometime) and tell them what your aim is and if they have any advice for you. Sometimes teachers have extra worksheets and practice questions they can pass on to you. Just show them that you're willing to work hard and believe in yourself! And of course like Laura said, you do need to take care of your wellbeing too. Its all about balance <3
