I think the antipsychotics are working

spacedogspacedog Posts: 1,175 Wise Owl
Idk I hope it's not a placebo effect but I feel more in control and my thinking I feel is all coming back to me again - they still tell me there's at the very least psychotic features but I don't think so but they tell me that's exactly the problem and it scares me

Hey @spacedog, thanks for sharing. It's good to hear that you feel that the medication is working for you. Could you explain a little more about what scares you? We're here to support you <3

You're doing really well reaching out @spacedog, we're all here for you <3

I'm glad to hear the medication is working for you but I'm also hearing you're feeling scared at the moment too which is a really tough place to be especially when you're trying new medication. As Azziman mentioned, do share more with us as we're all here to listen and support you through this. You're doing amazing and we're all really proud of you <3
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

@Azziman I suppose just because it's different - and after my reaction to any antidepressants I didn't want any - they sent me into a state of restlessness like right now but also Really depressed and it was horrific

I know it can be really difficult trying out new medication and it's a big step to take <3
